Bhutan Samcholing Zang Ja Donkere Thee
Zang Ja, donkere thee, postgefermenteerde thee uit Samcholing, Bhutan.
Bhutan, het laatste koninkrijk in de Himalaya. De theevelden waar deze thee vandaan komt bevinden zich bij het zomerpaleis van de tweede koning en werd oorspronkelijk in de jaren 50 geplant. Een collectief van 34 vrouwen runt nu de boerderij, waarbij ze de thee met de hand plukken. Postgefermenteerde thee Himalaya stijl lokaal gebruikt voor "milk tea". Een milde fluweelzachte thee, aangenaam houtig, fris.

Brewing western | Post fermented tea:Use 2 grams of tea per cup (200ml) and brew hot, throw away the first brew, around 95°C, allow to steep for 2-3 minutes and infuse at least 3 times. |
Brewing eastern | Use 3 grams of tea per 100ml of water, the water temperature is between 90 and 100 ° C and short steeps of around 10 seconds. It's best to use a small teapot or gaiwan. |
Shelf life | Store this product cool, dark, dry and airtight; after a year the fresh taste develops into a more mellow taste. |
