Organic certified Matcha cooking grade 30 mesh
This 100% pure Matcha, without additives has an excellent price-quality ratio and comes from controlled organic cultivation in Japan. Matcha is made from green tea that has been ground into powder. Matcha has a delicious aroma, (after briefly but vigorously whisking with a Chasen, a bamboo hand whisk) and has a rich taste. This matcha is very suitable for green smoothies, baked goods, and of course pure as a drink. This matcha is less suitable for Koicha (thick and strong tea style) but suitable for Usucha (thin and mild tea style).
Preparation of matcha usucha tea:
1. Rinse the cup with warm water, sift the matcha through a fine sieve if necessary and let it come to room temperature. It is also possible to dilute the matcha with a little cold water, this to first dissolve the lumps using the matcha whisk.
2. To prepare Usucha, add half a teaspoon of Matcha to the cup (about 75 ml) to taste. This is about 1 scoop with the chasaku.
3. Put the hot water in the cup for your "Usucha" thin Matcha tea, use water of max 80ºC.
4. Beat the tea vigorously, and move the brush slowly from left to right, and back again, trying to touch the bottom as little as possible until the Usucha (Matcha) starts to foam. The more matcha the easier foam is created.
5. Drink the Usucha Matcha immediately (after honoring the Tea Goddess).
