Wuyi Rou Gui 'Cinnamon' Oolong tea, harvest spring 2021, from the Long Juan Dongshan, Anxi Quanzhou, Fujian, China. This tea has a nice smooth balanced taste with fruity, spicy, mineral properties. This Rou Gui is medium roasted (the wet leaves have a dark green appearance). The tea gives a nice golden colored brew, and can be poured very often, provided Gongfu is used. Rui Gui is a Wuyi Oolong tea (also known as Yan Cha or Cliff Tea); the name literally means cinnamon. Rou Gui is a very old type of tea, known for its rich taste and often served with food. The tea was first developed during the Qing Dynasty. This tea comes from a special project from our supplier. The tea is produced in a traditional way: hand-picked and processed by hand.
