Ya Shi Xiang Dan Cong, ala Duck shit oolong, afkomstig uit Chao Zhou, Guangdong, China, vlak bij het dorp Phoenix gelegen bij de beroemde Phoenix Hills. Volgend overleveringen zouden boeren een nieuwe theetuin aanleggen in Wudong Shan, ze noemden de tuin Ya Shi of "Eendenstront" om te voorkomen dat anderen hun overheelrlijke aromatische theestruiken zouden stelen om te vermeerderen.
Zoals met de meeste verhalen in China, is het onmogelijk om te weten of dit waar is of niet, feit is dat nu heeft iedereen in dit gebied Duck Sh*t oolong teelt, deze staat in hoog aanzien en dat is niet voor niets ,het is een prachtige thee.

| Brewing western | Oolong tea: Use 2 grams of tea per cup (200ml) and brew medium to hot, around 80° to 100°C, allow to steep for 3-5 minutes and infuse at least 3 times. |
| Brewing eastern | Use 3 grams of tea per 100ml of water, the water temperature is between 90 and 100 ° C and short steeps of around 10 seconds. It's best to use a small teapot or gaiwan. |
